I was born and raised in Haverhill MA. Started playing music when I was very young, I started out on the piano. Soon after I tried the guitar for the first time. In the 5th grade I also picked up the trumpet and continued to play all the way through high school in marching band and concert band. My freshmen year of high school is when I picked the guitar back up and seriously started to learn. I had private lessons from a Mr. Ben Goldbaum at Haverhill Music Centre. The summer before my senior year I attended "Summer Guitar Sessions" at Berklee College of Music, a week long program that involved 3 classes, I played in an ensemble, and attended seminars, workshops, and performances. After high school I went to Northern Essex Community College to study Music and got a Liberal Arts associates degree in Music. While I was there I was a student of Mr. Mike Lecuyer, who showed me a whole new side of the guitar and what it meant to really play. I am very thankful for all that he has done for me. Currently I am a Performance major at Umass Lowell under the direction of Jon Wheatley. I have been in bands and ensembles, and recently I was in the pit for a theatre production. I listen to lots of music, being well rounded is very important to me, and I love studying theory and applying it to every aspect of my playing. I also love just talking about music in general, hearing different opinions about it and knowing what people think of it and how music makes them feel. "Music is your own experience, your thoughts, your wisdom. If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." -Charlie Parker
